ASTM International is an international standards organization that develops and publishes consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) provides stewardship over the construction, maintenance and preservation of the Nation’s highways, bridges and tunnels. FHWA also conducts research and provides technical assistance to state and local agencies in an effort to improve safety, mobility, and livability, and to encourage innovation.

National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP)
The National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP) was established by Michigan State University and FP2, Inc. to lead collaborative efforts among government, industry, and academia in the advancement of pavement preservation by advancing and improving pavement preservation practices through education, research, and outreach.
National Road Research Alliance (NRRA)
The NRRA is a consortium of over 20 state agencies and academic institutions dedicated to solving problems that impact road owners.
Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) - Manual
This Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) manual is intended to assist government agencies understand and rate their pavement surface conditions. PASER was developed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison TIC, and is used by many state and local municipalities.
Transportation Information Center (TIC)
Every year Wisconsin municipalities spend one billion dollars to repair and replace roads and bridges. There are nearly 100,000 miles of local roads in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Transportation Information Center was created in 1983 to help local highway officials manage their road systems and this huge road budget.
